Michael J. Petersen, Sr., CPA -- Owner
Michael Petersen, Sr., is a graduate of the University of Utah and is a
member of the AICPA and UACPA. He is past chairman of the UACPA and also
served on the UACPA Awards Committee. He has over 31 years experience in
public accounting primarily in two areas - tax and management consultation.
Mr. Petersen's expertise is in preparation and review of complex individual,
partnerships, corporate and fiduciary returns. He also specializes in
assisting clients in efficient management of their companies,
including budget accounting systems, tax planning and tax projections,
and cash flow analysis. He has significant experience in representing clients

Michael Petersen, Jr., graduated from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management with his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy with and emphasis in tax. He has over six years of experience in public accounting including three years with national accounting firms Ernst & Young and Arthur Anderson. Michael has experience in expatriate taxation, complex individual, partnerships, corporate and fiduciary tax returns. He is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Ilene Helfrich, MBA, CPA - Audit Manager
Ilene Helfrich received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from State University of New York at Buffalo, New York and has over nine years experience with audit, tax and accounting issues. She performs financial, single and HUD audits including planning, supervision, fieldwork and writing reports as well as other services including tax preparation. Ilene is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor for 2009, 2010.
Michelle Arbon - Payroll Specialist/Office Manager
Michelle is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor for 2008, 2009, 2010. Her work includes processing payrolls, payroll tax returns, preparing tax returns, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Michelle is currently a student at Weber State University majoring in Accounting.
